Dress appropriately: Bring sun protection:
Wear a cap, sunglasses,and cool, comfortable clothing. Because of the heat and humidity, cotton provides the most comfort. Wear shoes with rubber soles to prevent slipping. Bring lunch, snacks, and drinks: Take precautions to prevent seasickness:

Sandwiches, snacks, and drinks may be purchased at the dock store (opens at 6 AM). Avoid heavy, rich foods and excessive alcohol the night before. Have a light, non-greasy breakfast. If you are prone to motion sickness, consider taking medication to prevent it (ginger tablets are natural remedy).
